Build Things That Matter | SAP TechEd 2026 Keynote Opening

What will you build next? Discover how AI, agentic coding, and decades of innovation are shaping the future of enterprise technology at SAP TechEd 2026. The future of technology once belonged to science fiction. Today, AI is changing how developers build, how businesses operate, and how ambitious ideas become reality. From writing ABAP on green screens to designing systems that machines can implement, the tools have evolved dramatically. And what's extraordinary today could soon become part of everyday work. In this opening film from the SAP TechEd 2026 keynote, we reflect on how far technology has come and look ahead to what's possible. Since 1972, SAP has helped turn ambitious ideas into business-critical innovations. What began with five innovators has grown into a global community of millions, building technology that supports the processes behind businesses, supply chains, and applications around the world. Now, with AI and agentic coding, we're entering another chapter of innovation. Developers are moving beyond writing every line of code toward defining what systems should accomplish and working with AI to bring those ideas to life. It's a shift that creates new possibilities for building, innovating, and solving meaningful business challenges. Because the future isn't just something we imagine. It's something we build together.
